Imagine

Another UK based developer and publishing company that started in 1982, founded by members of Bug-Byte. They made a number of well know arcade games until they became bust a year after they started. The Imagine label was bought by Ocean (which incidentelly has the same color and font on the logo) and the other programmers went and started Psygnosis and Denton Designs. Ocean used the Imagine name to release a number of titles. Imagine Softwares own releases for the C64 were few like Arcadia and Ah Diddums. But the brand name that was used by Ocean had many good titles like: Green Beret, Hyper Sports, Salamander, Terra Cresta, Yie Ar Kung Fu, and naturally the well know Taito licensed Arkanoid. Comic Bakery which featured music by Martin Galway was also released under the Imagine brand.
