Hewson

Hewson was started up early in the 80s in the UK by Andrew Hewson and lived through the C64 days producing some fine titles until they closed down in 1991. Some of their most popular titles were: Alleykat, Cybernoid, Gribbly's Day Out, Heavy Metal Paradroid, Iridis Alpha, Paradroid, Rana Rama, Zamzara and naturally Uridium which set the standard of fast scrolling shooters in 1986. Hewson also had a budget label called Rack It where they also re-released some of their most popular titles later.
